LONDON, ENGLAND, October 2022 — Akasa, a leading active cooling and RGB lighting solutions provider, has released a 14 cm version of their popular, premium SOHO AR and Alucia SC case fans. These fans provide an even higher airflow than the 12 cm variants, allowing an almost silent operation when idling.
The SOHO AR14 and Alucia SC14 fans are equipped with the best mechanisms to provide a premium experience. These fans come with MHD Bearing technology, which uses magnetic fields to increase the smoothness of the bearing lubricant, leading to an extremely quiet operation, smoother rotation, and an increased fan life of 40,000 hours. The padded, reinforced frame of the fan also contributes towards the soundless operation, keeping the noise to a minimum. Coupled with PWM control, the fan speed can be kept low when under light loads, essentially allowing for quiet yet powerful functionality.
The dazzling SOHO AR14 has its iconic, minimalist, neon-style aRGB ring, with over 16 million lighting combinations. The aRGB connects using a three-pin 5V header and can be seamlessly controlled using major RGB control software such as Gigabyte RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light, ASUS AURA, ASRock Polychrome and Razer Chroma RGB. Akasa also provides aRGB controllers if the motherboard does not include them, which are an excellent addition to any colourful build (for example, product code AK-RLD-04).
The Alucia fan (Alucia SC12) consists of a premium metal Akasa badge, and navy blue, oceanic fan blades. Keep a low profile with the stealthy colourway, designed especially for those who want the performance of the PC to stand out. These provide a high level of aerodynamic efficiency, optimising the airflow (56.3 CFM) and air pressure (1.94 mm H²O) for the fan.
